Effective branding – A Website Necessity

Emily Casey ND - Toronto - website

A Toronto Naturopath’s Website

Toronto design client Dr. Emily Casey is building her practice in the competitive Toronto market. She wanted to develop a brand unique to her aesthetic and welcoming to her preferred focus areas.

It started with a conversation about colour – and the lavender focus was formed. Powerful plant, warm colour – the brand possibilities are endless, and the visual brand identity so beautiful.

Dr. Casey wanted a clean, professional website imbued with health and wellness. Together we developed relevant content and key messages that would strengthen the import of the website. We tackled basic SEO as we went so it was an organic aspect of content development.

Dr. Casey has committed to writing a blog monthly to support her Year of Health. Her posts are rich in original content and they hum with real empathy for her clients. The monthly oeuvre is invaluable for search engine indexing, and Dr. Casey’s natural affinity with social media ensures she’s constantly creating dynamic content. Origin Brand has been commissioned to provide branding support for the monthly blog posts : feature graphic, home page slider, Mailchimp campaign are carefully crafted each month to ensure the Dr. Emily Casey, ND brand is extended well.

A website should constantly evolve, and every month it seems there are new services to present. Our client can manage content herself, but we do step in to ensure photos are in keeping with brand and formatting remains consistent for a polished website. WordPress websites do need TLC from time to time – core updates, software and security updates are necessary to ensure a healthy website.

It’s been such a pleasure developing the website for Dr. Casey! Extending the beautiful brand is a real treat and reading her posts monthly keep us thinking about our own health and work-life balance too.

Origin Brand website design - STW Builders

Website Design for STW Builders

Professional photography gives Invermere builder Scott Wilisky a real edge online. He invested in photo shoots of his most recent builds and this made web creation such a treat! Scott was clear on the messaging he wanted and the website content evolved to its current rich state through our weekly meetings.

Website Design for Family Dynamix

The Family Dynamix website re-brand was driven by the need to showcase a broad range of programming. The site needed to address a diverse audience – the entire community, clients and funders. It was critical for the website to be engaging – we sourced bright, positive photos to present programs and to engage community members.

Content was developed through group coaching sessions – key messaging, content triage and visual brand identity were worked through as a group. We also did some hands-on in WordPress through Origin’s LEAP process, which guides clients in the website building process.

Origin Brand website development - Invermere Bakery

Website Design for the Invermere Bakery

The Invermere Bakery did a major overhaul on their brand and they needed a website to match. It was a team building exercise through Origin’s LEAP training process : through working meetings, members of the Invermere Bakery staff and Origin Brand built content and pages. It was critical that Bakery staff could effectively manage content themselves, so the ongoing coaching sessions ensured familiarity with the software and built authentic content.
